Ever since I joined the Society of Children’s Book Writers and illustrators (SCBWI) in May 2021, I have been attending their regional virtual events and learning everything I can about picture books, storytelling, and illustration. I truly appreciate how each regional group would share resources by organizing webinars featuring industry professionals to give us some much insight into the publishing world.

And since most of these virtual events are organized by the US Chapters, I felt a need to know where these groups are located when I was attending their meetings. I have never been to America and I hope to visit one day. So, it is time I picked up the map.

I got a blank map from 50states.com. As I look through the list of the US Chapters, I realized they are grouped in a certain way:
